Living from and with nature

Animals
We run a farm with around 50 young cattle.
The calves are born in South Tyrol and come to us when they are between three and four weeks old. The steers are reared in a species-appropriate way in a playpen and fed exclusively with dry feed.
Other animals on the farm: pigs, chickens, cats and rabbits.
Seiser Alm
The animals spend the summer on our pasture on the Alpe di Siusi.
We cultivate 15 hectares of alpine meadows, 27 hectares of alpine pasture and 18 hectares of forest.
The wood is processed into wood chips and provides us with energy for hot water and heating.

Our own products
Fruit trees around the house and a beautiful vegetable garden provide us with fresh, healthy fruit and vegetables that are processed into delicious fruit spreads, syrups, apple juice, herbs, homemade liqueurs and schnapps, pickles and dried goods.
We also have our own eggs and produce bacon, smoked sausages and fresh meat in summer.
Home-grown industrial hemp is processed into hemp flour, hemp oil and hemp seeds and sold in the hofschank.
Enjoy our own farm products
We are happy to provide a breakfast basket with a selection of our own products on request.
For our tender ox meat we use our own animals. Our cattle receive only the best feed, which otherwise only dairy cows get - this is of course reflected in the quality.
