Seasons
The facets of South Tyrol
Springtime
In spring, nature awakens in the Dolomites and delights outdoor-loving visitors. Hikes, culinary tours and a well-signposted network of tours for mountain bikers and runners invite you to discover the beauty of the Alpe di Siusi and its surroundings.
The
Seiser Alm Balance organizes weekly events such as flower walks, willow weaving, yoga and the production of natural cosmetics.
Summer
Summer is the perfect time for hikes in the surrounding areas of
Alpe di Siusi and Catinaccio.
Discover beautiful places such as Lake Carezza
or the warmest swimming lake in the Alps,
Lake Caldaro.
The more adventurous can enjoy
Paragliding, E-Bike Tours
and the various high ropes courses.
And if the weather doesn't quite play ball, the nearby towns of Bolzano, Bressanone, Chiusa and Merano invite you to explore and do some shopping.
Autumn
Experience the colorful autumn landscapes and the traditional Törggelen. Let yourself be enchanted by delicious fresh wine and hearty dishes in the wine taverns and visit winegrowers such as the
Gumphof, who offer guided tours and provide insights into winegrowing.
We also offer during this time at the Törggelen in our
Hofschank our
own products.
Winter
In addition to cross-country ski trails and toboggan runs, the Alpe di Siusi offers 175 kilometers of slopes for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities and has direct connections to the Val Gardena ski area
and the popular Sellaronda.
An alternative to Europe's largest high plateau is the
Carezza ski area
in Catinaccio, 30 minutes away.
Another highlight is ice skating on the Völser Weiher lake, which is just a 10-minute walk away.
